DID YOU KNOW . . . ?

Pricing for all products offered online start with the “list” price.  From time to time discounts, special sales, or  introductory offers along with dozens of other marketing “come ons” give the shopper opportunities to save some money on items/parts they’re looking to purchase. 

There also exists a price that brand/manufacturers have created and have designated as their “MAP”.  M.A.P. stands for Minimum Advertised Price.  Historically, large online vendors would over order a hot selling item from a brand/manufacturer and dump it on their site at a price undercutting all other member dealers of the brand.  Needless to say those member dealers demanded, and quickly received, protection from this maneuver in what has now come to be known as the MAP. 

When selecting brands for ebobsgarage we queried each brand if they utilized the MAP in their pricing structure, and just as importantly were they enforcing it.  If we got a yes to both questions we proceeded to partner up.  Ebobsgarage is pleased to inform one and all that every product you see on our site is priced at MAP, never list.  Should you ever see it for less than our price anywhere online, report it to the brand because that dealer is in violation of his contract with the brand/manufacturer and the brand will welcome your call and thank you.  Tell ‘em eBob sent you.  As always, you can    “Shop with confidence at ebobsgarage”.
